Internet Safety

The Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre has advice for parents and children regarding internet safety on its Thinkuknow website.  It has the latest information on the sites the children like to visit, mobiles and new technology.

There is a dedicated area for parents:https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/parents/
for children aged 5-7 years old: http://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/5_7/
for children aged 8-10: http://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/8_10/
and for older children: http://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/11_16/.

Most importantly, there’s also a place which anyone can use to report if they feel uncomfortable or worried about someone they are chatting to online.

We are currently working alongside National Online Safety (NOS) to gain our NOS Certified Schools Accreditation. The NOS offer a number of great parent guides for commonly accessed apps and websites to ensure that we are supporting our children to stay safe and make good choices online, and a number of these can be accessed below.
