OFSTED Report February 2025
We had a monitoring visit from OFSTED at the end of February 2025.
We are delighted that OFSTED recognised our school's commitment to academic excellence and pupil's social and personal development. This is at the heart of Catholic Schooling.
What OFSTED said:
- The school has high expectations for all pupils.
- Pupils are proud of their work. Their books demonstrate the depth and breadth of their learning.
- Children show impressive independence.
- The school places equal emphasis on promoting academic excellence alongside pupils’ social and cultural development.
- Pupils talk confidently about democracy and law and why these are important. They understand that they can make a difference in the world; they enjoy doing so.
- The school has embedded an impressive programme to develop pupils’ characters.
The strength of the curriculum, both the teaching and the teacher knowledge is noted, but also the breadth to build well rounded, articulate pupils. We are delighted with the report.
